This represents something that takes a very long time. The Tone therefore is 'Aeon', the Reality is 'Frustration' and the Destiny is to outlatst or endure.

Lemurian Cards A Brief Story |

In 1995 Zack Rehfeld approached Rev. Marlene Villarreal with an idea of making their own fortune cards. He thought they would make their own version of Tarot Cards but that was not to be. When Marlene asked Zack what the cards would be named he said "Lemurian Fortune Cards". She asked him "why the name?" and he answered "I don't know". Then she asked "how many cards in the deck?", once again he said "I don't know, maybe 64".
Rev. Marlene then started to receive images which Zack would draw. Rev. Marlene would then go into trance where Zack would have conversations with the Lemurians. This process took a period of several months. The Lemurians would not dictate the answers of what the meaning or interpretation of the cards were but rather, would give clues of what they meant. When asked why they just give the answers they said that we would have a better understanding if we found our own answers. Since that time a young lady Cassia Mello voluntered her talents as graphic artist to transfer the outline drawings to the computer so that we could begin the manufacturing of the cards.
In a few of the conversations with the Lemurians they would ask if Lemuria was a part of our earth as legends have been told. They said that lemuria have never been part of the earth but that they did visit earth in time of Atlantis by means of a portal, where they did exchange information.

Fortune telling is an art as old as humanity. From the dim mists of time immemorial come traditions for understanding phenomena as varied as prodigies in the sky, the strange behavior of animals, the rantings of the mad, the strange visions of dreams, and even the odd arrangements of bones in the fire.
